He lifts us up

When life's problems become so great,
I find myself sinking into the sea of distress.

Who can I turn to for help?

When Peter tried to walk on water, He succeeded for a few steps,
then he began to sink.
He cried out for help to Jesus.

Jesus took his hand and lifted him up and kept him from sinking into the sea.
We, out of pride, try to walk on waters of the sea of distress.

When we began to sink, we cry out and Jesus,
who is ever with us, takes our hand and lifts us up.

He is able to keep you afloat.
