Without any trials, there are no rewards given in Heaven.
Every holy man who ever existed was tried and tested.

If they have persecuted the Lord,
they also will persecute you who believe and love God.

Satan even used the elements
of the earth to cause righteous Job to suffer.

Tobias was made physically to suffer
for seven years by the evil one.

The trial of your faith worketh patience.

Rejoice and be exceedingly glad
when you are persecuted for the Lord.
