Promotion comes from above

He, who seeks the advancement of others,
shall be promoted in God's Kingdom.

He, who would be great in the Kingdom of Heaven,
let him become the servant of all God's children.

He, who waits on tables and sweeps the floors for others,
is far greater in God's Kingdom, then he who seeks to rule over the brethren.

This is what is means to be humble and meek.

Do not seek to promote yourself.
