Be humble and meek

Play
Give me the words to write,
that glorify Thee and Thee alone, Oh Lord.

I must decrease and You, Oh Lord, must increase.

These were the words of John the Baptist,
who, Jesus declared to be the greatest of all prophets.

Jesus, though being the Incarnation of God,
sought no earthly reputation for Himself.

He could have made Himself King,
yet He lived His Life on earth as a beggar.

Do not seek to live a life where multitudes glorify you,
but instead be humble and meek.
